Nature Explorer Days at Gilbert White's

A day of activities for 7–12-year-olds exploring nature in the grounds of Gilbert White's museum through a variety of activities including nature study, art, craft, games and challenges.

Each day will have different activities- participants can come for either one or both days.

This session can count towards the ‘Discover’ and ‘Explore’ elements of the John Muir Discovery or Family Award which can then be completed during the coming academic year through additional sessions which will cover the ‘Conserve’ and ‘Share’ elements.

Tickets £30 per child per day

Lunch not included- please bring a packed lunch!

This day will be led by our Learning Manager who has an enhanced DBS certificate and Outdoor First Aid qualification and will be assisted by one of our regular education volunteers. All activities will take place within the grounds of the museum. A consent form will be emailed in advance which must be completed and returned in advance of the day.
