Sandra Oh. Killing it. On your doorstep. Moliere’s satire is brought bang up to date. Oh plays  Alice, a sharp-tongued novelist who refuses to play society's games of flattery and social performance. The more she tells the truth, the higher the price she pays. A dark comedy about what it costs to be honest in a world built on spin, image, and carefully managed lies.

Paul Chahidi joins her and Indhu Rubasingham directs.

The Misanthrope’s  run at the Lyttelton closed just a fortnight ago, so NT Live is your only way to see it.

"Sandra Oh brings heart, fire, vulnerability and comic timing." Guardian
