A loud gig representing the metal and hardcore scene, with music from Our Hollow Our Home, THECITYISOURS, Alternative Carpark, and Microwave Cadaver Dinner

Headlining are the mighty Our Hollow Our Home, metalcore stalwarts on the scene and going from strength to strength with every album and tour. Supporting them is the new and refreshed The City Is Ours who we've been excited to see developing so much this year already. It wouldn't be a heavy night without asking one of our favourite bands to join too, so we've done exactly that. After a very long break, we are thrilled to see Alternative Carpark come back and remind everyone why they reign the local scene. Our opening band is one that we discovered through our Oakfest events with the local music students and we're delighted to be able to show them off to such an appreciative crowd.

Bands playing are:

Fast becoming one of the most important bands to watch in the UK metalcore scene the band formed in 2013 and soon embarked on numerous UK tours ahead of releasing their debut EP “//REDEFINE” in 2015. The following year they went on their first EU tour co-headlining with Imminence.

In March 2017 they independently released their debut album ‘Hartsick’ to critical acclaim. The album went to #1 in UK iTunes Metal and Rock charts as well as top 10 and top 20 placings in numerous countries including USA, Canada, Australia, Germany, Italy and Mexico.

A well timed cover of Ed Sheeran ‘Shape Of You’ then went to #1 iTunes Metal Songs in the UK and received daytime play on Radio 1.Over the next 18 months the ‘Hartsick’ touring cycle saw them complete several UK and EU headline tours as well as tours with Oceans Ate Alaska, Secrets, Glamour Of The Kill & Kingdom Of Giants.

OHOH teased fans with new material at the end of 2020 with them finally dropping the blistering single, “Burn In The Flood”. Tobias Young (Vocals/Guitars) said: "Burn In The Flood” drummed up some of the most intense anticipation we've ever witnessed for an OHOH drop! We had been building the hype and teasing our fans for so long, we thought it was only fair to drop the single early.2020 was a massive struggle for us as musicians and our fans, who have had their experience of seeing live music, ripped from them. “Burn In The Flood” is about overcoming adversity and fighting your way out of an overwhelming situation. I think this is something we can all reflect on after the year we had!”

THECITYISOURS: https://www.facebook.com/TheCityIsOursUK
Melodic metalcore from the heart of London, UK.

THECITYISOURS are a 5-piece metal band from the capital who have quickly garnered attention and growing support from peers, industry and fans alike, with their high-octane live show and the success of their debut album, ‘LOW’ (2019) which smashed into the top 5 iTunes metal charts with several singles appearing in editorial playlists with the likes of Amazon, Deezer and Spotify (Including 2 covers on New Core and Metal UK) supporting the band.

2019 was a very busy year for the TCIO, with appearances at a slew of UK festivals including Camden Rocks, Macmillan Fest, Burn It Down, Holloween, a fly in appearance at High Fives Festival in Sweden, a headline set in the Doghouse Tent at the revered Download Festival to a 4000+ audience of festival-goers in June, and a sold-out album release show at Boston Music Rooms in London in August.

Following the departure of long-standing vocalist Sam Stolliday in early 2020, the band unexpectedly found themselves in unknown territory. Now 18 months on they are back with brand new music, a signing to respected German alternative/metal label Arising Empire, and the introduction of new vocalist Oli Duncanson, ready to welcome a brand new era of City with the release of the first three singles from their sophomore album 'COMA', out on 22nd October, all surpassing 100k Youtube views and gaining Spotify, Deezer and Amazon editorial playlisting, with 'Violent', reaching # in iTunes Metal Chart, the title track 'COMA', featured on Triple J radio with several outings on Alex Baker's Fresh Blood radio how, and alongside latest single 'Death of Me', receiving regular playlisting on Kerrang! Radio's 'K Nights' show.

Alternative Carpark: https://www.facebook.com/AlternativeCarpark
A 4 piece hard rock and metal outfit from the South of England.

Alternative Carpark have spent the last 2 decades writing, recording and playing a ferocious blend of hard edged punk rock and funk infused groove metal. With an impressive list of UK and European shows under their belt, Alternative Carpark have built a loyal and loving fan base who return time and again to experience the joyously over the top live show. Inspired by the likes of Alice in Chains and Pearl Jam through Rage Against The Machine and Tool, Alternative Carpark produce exciting, accessible and energising underground rock music.

All their albums and EPs are widely available to download or stream on most major streaming services and they are excited to get on the road again. Plans for 2021 are to write and hopefully record to celebrate 25th anniversary of ACP.

Microwave Cadaver Dinner: www.instagram.com/microwave_cadaver_dinner
Doom/metal core band from Hampshire.

Even though they are new to the scene, only forming in 2021, they are sure to bring chunky riffs and soaring screams to the Lounge Bar. With each member inspired by a different sound - from Lamb of God to Power Trip, Metallica to Darko Us, MCD aims to bring a refreshing, but intense, new twist to the metal genre
