During the workshop, you will learn basic colour mixing and how to develop your own style of painting flowers, using simple yet effective washes and brushwork.
Following a demonstration of how to paint petals and foliage, in both a controlled and loose, impressionistic style, you will choose a floral subject from the Walled Garden and begin painting. Julia will be available throughout the workshop to provide support and guidance.
This workshop is suitable for beginners and the ticket cost includes all materials and a cream tea.
