Held on Old Twelfth Night, there was the practice in cider-producing regions of England of visiting orchards to recite incantations and sing to the trees to promote a good harvest for the coming year. There will be a torch-lit procession to the orchard in the Walled Garden, where there will be singing and toasting around the Bramley tree. We encourage you to bring your own instrument and torch for the procession!
Soup and a roll will be served in the House afterwards.
Special guests performing on the night are the Shanty Men! You can find out more about them here: http://www.kingspondshantymen.org.uk/
Price: £18 adult; Children (Under 16) £15 (includes soup, roll and drink)
