Course: Writing for Wellness

An introduction to writing in order to improve emotional wellbeing.

Learning Goals: (by the end of the course you will be able to…)

  • Write your way to a more positive outlook on life!
  • Identify the benefits of keeping a journal or diary.
  • Practice mindful writing: descriptive.
  • Learn some Free Writing Exercises.
  • Writing to describe how you feel right now without judgement.

About the Course

How to write for a positive outlook on life. Looking at the benefits of keeping a journal. Writing is a marvellous tool for encouraging your hopes and dreams, offloading negativity, and finding joy in everyday life. There’s lots of benefits to be had doing one-off journaling at the workshop. But you may just find that it provides the motivation and tools to keep you writing regularly for your wellbeing.

No previous writing experience needed, all writing levels welcome. You never have to read aloud anything you have written.

You will need to bring:

  • Pens
  • Pencils
  • Note book
