Alton Concert Orchestra are really excited to bring you, in their 30th Anniversary year, their annual Spring Concert.
This year they will take you around the world and beyond. As travel opportunities have been limited these past two years they have scheduled a suitably adventurous concert programme, ‘Round the world and into space'!
The concert will be bringing you familiar music from home, in the form of Vaughan Williams’ English Folk Songs, Strauss will be providing the atmospherics with the Thunder and Lightning Polka and Sunrise, then travel North to the land of Sibelius with his Karelia Suite, before heading across the Atlantic to enjoy a medley from Chicago, then reaching the outer limits with iconic music from Apollo 13, John Williams’ Stars Wars and Star Trek through the years.
