Professor Pryce has held fellowships of the UK Academy of Social Sciences, The Society of Professional Economists, Regents University and others. She was the first female Master of the Worshipful Company of Management Consultants. Currently she is Chief Economic Adviser at the Centre for Economic and Business Research and visiting professor at Birmingham City University and King’s College, London.
She has written a number of books, her latest being “Women vs Capitalism” which tackles the problems of gender inequalities in the financial world.
Her talk will cover this and discuss whether we are responding correctly to the current financial crisis. What will it mean for growth, continuing inequality and our future prosperity and standard of living? How did we get into this pickle, what might happen next and what can be done to extricate us from this mess! If, like most of us, you don’t understand the full implications of our current financial situation then this talk is a must!
