London’s Cable Street Collective have been favourites on the festival circuit since the release of their first EP, The Best of Times, in 2014, and have built up a stellar reputation as a live band, playing Glastonbury, Boomtown, Latitude, Secret Garden Party, Bestival, The Isle of Wight Festival, and Boardmasters among others.
Their second EP, Where Now From Here? (2018) earned them critical plaudits and radio play on BBC Radio 6Music, Radio X and Amazing Radio, among others.
Their sound mixes Afro-Caribbean influenced guitars and beats with soulful female vocals, socially conscious lyrics and western melodies, creating an idiosyncratic Calypso alt-pop sound that’s all their own. Their sets are guaranteed to get everyone to their feet and dancing.
Their long awaited debut album "Battle Lines" is released this autumn
