Herald Classic Car Show

Last year we had record entries when over 70 cars came streaming into Alton and into the Market Square, Market Street and into Cross and Pillory Lane. We hope to get the same response this year.

Music will be provided by Alton Jazz band, Instant Poetry Jazz Quintet playing both traditional and modern jazz including all the old favourites, Paul Le Fevre will once again be hosting this event and playing his great sounds.

We hope to have a great mix of motorcycles too and prizes for best dressed occupants and best turned out car with a certificate for all entrants.

This year Caffe Nero will be giving free coffee away to the driver and passenger and our own local Stevo the magician will show you what he has up his sleeve - or mavbe not! Once again we will have a new market to Alton which is an eclectic mix of foods and goods from all over the world - plus all our local shops and services will be open.

For those of you joining the rally this year we will be meeting at The Pheasant in Farringdon just on the outskirts of Alton where breakfasts will be available. They will also be offering car owners and guests a special evening meal of two courses for only £9.95 so why not make a complete day of it and enjoy the end of the day with a lovely meal.
