Edward Lear’s Music

Join Dr Sara Lodge with pianist David Owen Norris and baritone Edward Robinson, for a night of Edward Lear’s Music.

Lear composed music for many poems, including settings of Tennyson’s poetry and many of his nonsense songs. Lear never played professionally but he did perform at countless social gatherings, including in Selborne when he visited Thomas Bell.
