Regency Week: Discover the Jane Austen Collection

Discover a selection of books that make up the Hampshire Library Services specialist Jane Austen Collection at Alton Library, part of Jane Austen Regency Week 2018

The selection includes material that covers the life and works of the author as well as information linked to relevant places and organisations.

Local Historian Jane Hurst and Library staff will be on hand to talk about the collection and provide additional information on the author and the local area.

This is a free 'drop-in' event, no booking required

About Regency Week

The Jane Austen Regency Week is run on a non-commercial basis by a group of volunteers and participating organisations. It is funded through ticket sales, grants from Alton Town Council and East Hampshire District Council, and by advertisers in our programme.
