So, we had this idea: what if we paid for the hire of the venue, and you got free entry to see acoustic performers? That seems reasonable? What if you wanted to bring some food though and we sent it all to the Alton Foodbank? Would that make it even better? Of course it would.
This is our Acoustic Foodbank venture and we're excited, and want to make it a huge success as last time was great and we had more donations than space. Most of us are fortunate to be able to not think twice about what to feed ourselves with daily, or have to choose between feeding ourselves or our children. Not everyone is that lucky so let's combine some great music with helping some local people out.
Performers playing this month are also well worth your attention so check them out and come and join us.
Tommy & The Archer
Tommy and the Archer play modern and traditional songs in a banjo fuelled knees up fashion!
Mike Page Music
Mike is from local punk band STUPiD, who we absolutely love. Come and see his quieter side!
A local singer/songwriter from Aldershot/Farnham.
What to bring? The Foodbank collects specific items as needed so we want to make sure the right things are brought down for them!
At the moment the foodbank are NOT looking for these:
We could also use non-food items such as shampoo, shower gel, soap.
