Philip Geddes, a Trustee of the Gilbert White's House & The Oates Museum, will tell the story of the three explorers of the natural world the Museum celebrates (Rev Gilbert White, Captain Lawrence Oates and Frank Oates) and introduce one of their new exhibits - a black browed albatross with a wingspan of 7 foot 8 inches.
Gilbert White's House & The Oates Museum is currently undergoing a £3m refurbishment that will provide new display galleries and much better facilities for visitors. Get a pre-view into how the new Museum will become an exciting place to visit - a jumping off point for individual voyages of discovery.
